Following on from the Government’s announcements made on Monday 16th March, our Senior Management have discussed and agreed on how Montrose Golf Links will operate in light of current recommendations.
1562 and Broomfield Courses – both courses are open as normal.
Please find below some of the safety measures being taken on the courses:
- Bunker rakes will be removed. Give yourself a good lie if in a poor one and kick sand flat on departure from bunker.
- Cups are being turned upside down to minimise touchpoints
- Ball washers are out of action
- On course toilets are closed
- Please no handshakes before or after play
- Always putt with the flag in place
- Keep your distance as per governmental guidelines
- Marking cards (one per group to save any swapping)
The courses are one of the best places to be at the moment. Fresh air, exercise and Nature.
Season Ticket Renewals – Non-Premium Credit
Online
Your season ticket renewal can be completed from the comfort of your own home by paying your renewal online, details of this will be on the online bill you received, if you require the details resent then please let us know and we will resend your bill to you. A bank transfer can be made – please get in touch if you require these details.
Telephone
You can pay your Season Ticket over the phone by calling 01674 672932, an answer machine service is in place if we are dealing with another enquiry. Please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible.
Visiting the Pro Shop/Office
If you wish to visit Montrose Golf Links then payment can also be made by debit or credit card or cheque. We ask for you to use these options as opposed to cash. We remind all Season Ticket Holders that payment can be made at the Professional Shop of the Office.
Season Ticket Holder Stickers
Season Ticket stickers can be delivered to your home – this also applies for Premium Credit Season Ticket Holders. Season Ticket Holders do not need to come into the Pro Shop or Office to collect.
Staffing
Greens Staff
Our staff are operating at normal but staggering their breaks. Our Greens Staff may have to move to a spilt squad with half in one day and then the next on a rota bases but we will advise if this is to be operated.
Office Staff
As things stand, one member of staff will be on duty for core hours from 9 am to 1 pm Monday to Friday. We are very fortunate that both members of our Office Staff can work remotely and all work calls to 01674 672932 can be diverted to mobile phones. The Government is encouraging homeworking so this is an area we might have to close down and have our team work from home.
Pro Shop
As things stand, the Professional Shop is open as normal with no more than one member of staff on duty.
Cleaning has been stepped up. All door handles are being strictly cleaned as well as all toilets etc after each customer. Staff Members will all be asked to wear latex gloves if cash is needing handled. Any bigger purchases can be paid over the telephone and delivered to your home, this includes any gift vouchers. Jason, Callum and Sean will continue to support you in anyway they can.
