FAQs
Tee times can be booked directly through our website, where you’ll be able to see the tee times we have available for both of our courses. All play is from the White, Yellow or Green Tees and we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred tee time.
Please note: to ensure the smooth running of our courses, the tee-times allocated to the party must be adhered to.
If courses become unplayable, they may be closed on the authority of the Head Greenkeeper or the senior member of Green Staff on duty.
If visiting golfers decide to abandon their round, rather than wait for play to restart, refunds will not apply.
If play does not resume, visitors will be offered the chance to reschedule their game. If they cannot reschedule, a full refund will be offered.
Visitors who have not started their round will be made aware of any course closure. Reasonable endeavours will be made to reschedule, either later that day or the following day, depending on availability, but those who cannot reschedule will be given a refund.
Course Closure Policy
Course closures or delays may be necessary at certain times due to the state of the courses, prevailing weather conditions or other special circumstances.
We want to reassure our season ticket holders that a decision to close the courses is only made by the Green Staff or the Pro Shop when it’s absolutely necessary to prevent course damage or to ensure the safety of those on our courses. .
This decision will be made as early in the day as practical and will be notified to members using the Club V1 notifications, BRS and social media platforms.
The priority will always be to keep the courses open where possible but the courses may be closed for the following reasons:
- Flooding or Waterlogging of the courses: In particular the greens, during or following heavy periods of precipitation as these may make the courses unplayable and to allow golfers onto the courses in such conditions may cause damage to the playing surfaces.
- Fog/Haar: When this reduces visibility to less than 200 yards closure of the courses will be necessary in the interests of the safety of players. Note: If the top of the hill can be seen from the 1st tee play may be considered safe. Visibility can, however, vary considerably on different parts of the courses. A full course inspection may be necessary in some circumstances to confirm the need to close or re-open the courses.
Please Note: If play is suspended, tee times during said period of closure will be lost and play will resume from the next tee time when the course reopens.
